Visited the hotel for a hen party. The room was spacious, although it needs air conditioning. The pool was lovely. The staff from start to finish were brilliant, although they may need extra staff to man the bar in the afternoon. our spa treatments were amazing, the lady who did mine put my mind at ease as it's the first time I've had a spa treatment. We experienced a little issue with some other people staying at the hotel who were being inappropriate. The staff dealt with this professionally and promptly, and the also communicated the issue with other staff throughout the hotel and spa to make sure the problem didn't occur again. Our lunch and evening meals were absolutely lovely and cooked perfectly. If you phone ahead of your stay with any food allergies they will take these into account and try their best to avoid using anything that could cause any issue. Overall our stay at the Telford hotel and golf and spa was lovely and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
I went for a massage a while after giving birth to my son and I must say, it was the best gift I’d received from my husband post pregnancy. The spa is very clean and relaxing. Not too keen on the relaxing room though at the end of the hallway. I would suggest if they added some drinking water and a couple of cups to finish off the experience on a high note. I’d be nice to sip on something while spending a few minutes relaxing before heading home.

Good food and friendly staff. We popped in the morning for breakfast. Given that there was a big group already there we were told there would be a wait for food. But the food came fast and was lovely. They were clearly short staffed but did the best they could.
Beautiful pub. Very good service. Lunchtime menu great and well priced. Staff very friendly. Nice outside seating and car park at the front.

A beautiful hotel, set in an idyllic location. Currently undergoing some refurbishment. We had a great time. We ate in the bar as the restaurant was busy. Food was good. Our rooms were clean, very spacious, comfortable and we had a great rest. The staff were very helpful, despite preparing for a wedding on site.
Just been to a lovely wedding here. Some great old stone buildings surrounded in lovely grounds for some great picture opportunities. Food was great and the staff were very polite and helpful. The only possible improvement needed would be some air conditioning in the main function room. But overall a very lovely place.

The staff here were so helpful sorting a menu for my wife who is gluten and lactose intolerant. My "standard" meal was also very good. Very tasty food and good beer. Thanks .
Staff were genuine, pleasant and accommodating when we called to book for a Fri eve meal. The pub is tastefully decorated and has a pleasant atmosphere. We were extremely impressed with the menu choices and when our meals arrived, we were pleased to find the food well executed and as enjoyable as the menu had promised. There was a good and reasonably priced wine list as well as menu choices for our toddler that included; but also extended beyond, the usual '' X & chips" children's fare. Staff were attentive but very relaxed and friendly. Our meal worked out marginally more expensive than its nearest local competitor, where we dined on the Saturday eve, but the overall quality was immeasurably better! We returned on Sun evening for the Sunday lunch menu and again were impressed. Would recommend without hesitation and would happily return.

What can I say? The pub just being where it is, is enough to say go. Sit outside(weather permitted) and just chill. Nice variety of drinks. And the food menu that I saw had plenty of mouth watering meals. And they did look good when they were being served to the customers. Pricey but as a treat, by the look of fellow the patents faces, I think the food must be worth it.
What a lovely spot! We went on a weekday for lunch. Not too busy at midday (getting busier towards 1pm). The light-bite menu options were delicious if a little more expensive than your standard pub food, but again, you are paying for the lovely location as well as the yummy food. The gardens need a little bit of attention though guys, making access a bit clearer.

In 2013 my family and I spent three extremely pleasurable weeks staying in the delightful Marnwood Properties. The Lodge, and beautifully restored Schoolhouse are easy to find, located within secure, peaceful surroundings ideal for families and within short walking distance from the centre of Ironbridge. The Marnwood properties are immaculate with carefully considered layouts to cater for all needs. The deceptively spacious Lodge contains everything needed to make your stay a truly memorable one, a real "home from home". The Schoolhouse is steeped in history and has been restored to an outstanding condition with 2 very impressive staircases leading to the double bedrooms. An album containing photos of the schoolhouse before restoration shows the amazing transformation - a definite must see. We chose Marnwood for its character, charm and private surroundings and were not disappointed, the availability of daily fresh eggs and vegetables from the Marnwood Estate was a delight, as was the hospitality of Jenny and John the owners, who went out of their way to make our stay a success. Nothing was too much trouble for Jenny, who is without doubt the most obliging, friendly and giving lady we have ever had the pleasure to meet. We highly recommend the Marnwood retreat to anyone wishing to enjoy a peaceful holiday in excellent accommodation within a beautiful setting. Without doubt we will definitely be returning to Marnwood in 2014.

Excellent service, great friendly couple. Room is a little rustic and some ceilings are low hanging (At least in the Coach house), but these are minor gripes. For the price, niceness and quality of the stay, accommodating hosts, it gets top marks from me
Beautiful B&B and absolutely amazing surroundings. Close to losts of museums and and lovely walk into Ironbridge

Great place to stay. Comfortable and homely. Superb breakfast. Welcoming and friendly host and staff. Very convenient for visiting all the museums . Great pub near by for good beer and evening food. Will definitely come again and recommend to friends.
A tad dear at 50 quid for a bed and no breakfast (£20 extra pp) but Tom's a really nice bloke and the digs are comfortable!

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Easily one of the best camp sites I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Spotlessly clean. The owners can't do enough to make your stay pleasant. Fire pits included too and wood available to buy for £5 for a big bag. Stunning views. Quiet and peaceful. The pods are fabulous. Will definitely be coming back.
Pleasant, flat, tents only though you can stay in a pod. Limited facilities i.e there aren't loads of loos. But clean and nicely managed. Each pitch gets a large brazier and wood is a fiver a big bag. Nice views, easy walk to an excellent breakfast place.
