Pub Food with Reviews, Maps and Links to their websites

The White Hart Restaurant & Cafe Bar

10 Wharfage, Ironbridge, Telford TF8 7AW, UK – 01952 432901

Staff were genuine, pleasant and accommodating when we called to book for a Fri eve meal. The pub is tastefully decorated and has a pleasant atmosphere. We were extremely impressed with the menu choices and when our meals arrived, we were pleased to find the food well executed and as enjoyable as the menu had promised. There was a good and reasonably priced wine list as well as menu choices for our toddler that included; but also extended beyond, the usual '' X & chips" children's fare. Staff were attentive but very relaxed and friendly. Our meal worked out marginally more expensive than its nearest local competitor, where we dined on the Saturday eve, but the overall quality was immeasurably better! We returned on Sun evening for the Sunday lunch menu and again were impressed. Would recommend without hesitation and would happily return.

Nice out door area. serve food (not all day) dog friendly. lovely interior. wide range of beers and some muffins on the counter. Great service. would recommend as part of a beer crawl or just pop in for a cheeky one.

Coalbrookdale Inn

12 Wellington Rd, Coalbrookdale, Telford TF8 7DX, UK – 01952 433953

The best pub in the area. Great beer and welcoming, great people.

A traditional pub with traditional people. Fantastic atmosphere.

The Swan Taphouse

21 Wharfage, Ironbridge, Telford TF8 7NH, UK – 01952 433108

Food was really tasty but had to wait an hour for it to arrive. Staff were nice enough... Would have been nice to have been asked if everything was OK with our food, especially as one of our party's food arrived cold, but after having waited an hour just ate it anyway. We noticed that several other groups were also complaining about their 1 hour wait on food. It would have been understandable if they'd have been heaving but it wasn't really that busy. I'm being harsh on service but to be fair to them. They serve the best food in town and was worth the wait. Just the experience wasn't the best. Good choice of beers, almost 5 stars but not quiet.

Fabulous friendly staff nothing to much trouble for them. Evening meals and breakfast absolutely perfect huge portions. Would highly recommend a visit. Bedroom very comfortable. Great variety of ales and wines.

Restaurant Severn

33 High St, Ironbridge, Telford TF8 7AG, UK – 01952 432233

I was once a regular diner here, but it's been about 4 years since I last eat here and from looking at the new interior & website I'm assuming the chef/owner/management have changed hands. Fortunately the quality of the food, service and atmosphere hasn't changed and is still of an exceptional standard. Tonight I had the belly pork which was beautifully cooked and well sized. I finished with a simple and perfectly balanced sticky toffee pudding. The staff were very attentive, yet offered plenty of personal space for us to enjoy the evening. The pace of service was just right never feeling rushed or having to wait for our courses. If you're looking for a small intimate restaurant, in a beautiful historical village, with well cooked honest food, but with a fine dining feel then this is the place to come....oh and you'll also be pleasantly surprised by the price. I will definitely return.

Excellent food and polite service. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Weekends have a set menu.

Oh my the food is superb I had the pork and my wife had lamb you won't be disappointed..the staff are very nice. And the restaurant is so relaxing.

Best meal in the Midlands. Amazing service. Phenomenal food. Great prices for some high-end cuisine. Consistently top notch meals. This place should be considered with some Michelin restaurants. Add a proper sommelier and extensive wine selection, and they should be up for consideration.

Chinese Restaurants serving the Buildwas area

Xing Hai

6A Tontine Hill, Ironbridge, Telford TF8 7AL, UK – 01952 433998

stayed open for us on valentines night we had the whole restaurant to ourselves , we did not realise but we stayed a hour and a half past there closing time. the staff made us feel welcome and we had lovely private meal overlooking the iron bridge . The food was lovely and i highly recommend this restaurant

The lady below Rebekah Mitchel paid her bill with a fake £20 note, when I asked her to replace it because I had to cover it she swore at me and refused to speak to me again, as for threats she is not only a thief but a lier, she has not called the police why would she, I can show them the fake money she paid with. My boss asked me to clarify situation because it is not fair to say what she said.

Hong Kong City

Unit 2, Stirchley District Centre, Stirchley, Telford TF3 1ET, UK – 01952 598500

This is an okay Chinese takeaway. Car park outside or delivery available. Food doesn't disappoint, generous portions, reasonably priced. Sometimes a short wait but never too long. Hygiene rating 3 star as of September 2016. Reinspected Jan 2018 so new score due soon.

New to the area and really wanted a Chinese. Absolutely delicious, can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a Chinese so much. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Vegetarian or Vegan Restaurants

Clays Of Broseley

67 High St, Broseley TF12 5EX, UK – 01952 884667

Lovely food and ambiance. Service was also top class. One of the best dining experiences.

As we visited for NYE dinner, it was a set menu. I'd definitely like to go back and see the everyday menu. The staff are really friendly. The only negative is that the drinks menu is rather expensive, there aren't any cheaper options, which is a shame

The Ironbridge Fish & Chips

32 High St, Ironbridge, Telford TF8 7AD, UK – 01952 432222

Great food and service. But now instead of plates cups cutlery, it's services in cardboard boxes with plastic forks and cardboard cup!! Would have been five stars but bow only 3

Lovely fish, too many chips for us! Good prices and friendly staff.

The King & Thai

Broseley TF12 5DL, UK – 01952 882004

Wonderful food, warm attentive service, all at a very reasonable price. We'd been looking to eat here for a long time, and got the chance last night. The food was exceptional. In particular the bbq ribs, and the stir fired beef were exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this restaurant to anyone.

Lovely meal again. Never normally have a three course meal but food was amazing. Thank you for making our evening so nice Girls very helpful

Wine Bars and Cocktail Bars

La Casita

33A High St, Ironbridge, Telford TF8 7AG, UK – 01952 432058

A rare but inexpensive little tapas bar. Great value night out, a little bit of Spain on our doorstep. Access is through a short little ally then up stairs so no wheel chair access unfortunately. It seats about 20, it can be a little cosy when busy, but you don't feel overcrowded. Having tried many tapas bars in Spain, I can say that this one is as genuine as it gets and great value compared to others ones in the area.

Cute, small place. Nice food, good atmosphere.
